what we are

House of Prayer United exists to teach and train those who are called to serve as leaders in their God-given calling and ministry.

We're not a church in the traditional sense, though we are each collective members of the church.

what we're not

Our Core Beliefs

Our vision

House Of Prayer United desires that every believer would come to know the Holy Spirit intimately, experience the fullness of His Presence and is on a mission— that all believers called to the work of ministry are fully equipped; spirit, soul and body, and find and fulfill God's Divine Purpose for their lives.

All of our teaching and the direction of our ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.

i am saved

We believe that when we repent, confessing with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead, that we are now justified by His blood. We are reconciled back to God and shall be saved from His wrath.

Rom 5:1-2, 6, 8-11, Rom 10:9-10, Heb 11:17-19, Heb 9:15

i am righteous and family

We believe that we are new creatures and have been made righteous with the righteousness of Christ. Our righteousness is not of ourselves, it has been given to us. We are not an "unworthy" new creature or a "sinner saved by grace". We were once sinners, but now we are saved by grace. Our spirit is born again, created in righteousness and true holiness. We are now Sons and Daughters of God and joint heirs with Jesus.

Rom 8:17, 2 Cor 5:17, 21, Gal 4:6, Eph 2:5-8, Eph 4:24, Phi 3:19, Eph 2:21-22

i am holy

We believe in the Doctrine of Sanctification as a definite, yet progressive work of grace that begins at the time of regeneration and will continue until the consummation of salvation at Christ's return.

Gal 2:20, John 17:17-19

i am prosperous

We believe that for the believer, prosperity is always the will of God in our entire spirit, soul and body. The Lord has pleasure in the prosperity of those who serve Him.

Psalm 35:27, Isa 53:10, John 3:2-4

i am healed and healthy

We believe that divine healing is always God's will for all believers; for the whole person, spirit, soul and body; and is wrought by the power of God. Jesus healed all who were oppressed by the Devil.

John 10:10, Acts 10:38, John 1:1-14

i am blessed

We believe that all the promises of God are yes and amen, never no; that they are provided for in the atonement of Christ and are the privilege of every member of the Body of Christ today who will receive them by faith.

2 Cor 1:20-22, Deut 29:29, 2 Pet 1:4, Eph 1:3, 14, 18

i have an inheritance

We believe that the faith to receive any of the Promises of God comes from hearing God's word alone; that God's Word is alive and powerful. Every promise therein contains the faith of God, sufficient to bring itself to pass in the life of any person who believes His promise in their heart and confesses it with their mouth. We receive by faith what God has so wonderfully provided by His grace.

Rom 10:17, Rom 15:8, Deut 6:6-9, Heb 4:12

i am for God and he is for me

We believe that in all things pertaining to life on earth, God is the author of all that is good. It is only the Devil that comes to steal, kill and destroy. God never tempts us or uses any element of the curse to teach us. He only teaches us by His Holy Spirit revealing to us the truth of His Word.

Jam1:13-17, John 10:9-10, Isa 26:3, Heb 4, Psalm 91, Rom 8:35-39, John 16:13, Luke 10:19-20, 2 Pet 1:10-11

I have free will, authority + dominion

We believe God gave all mankind free will and dominion over the world that we live in; that He gave all Christians His kingdom authority and power, to walk as Sons and Daughters of God, in the steps of Jesus, who was our example in all things. By the leading of the Holy Spirit, we are to take dominion over circumstances and situations by enforcing His Covenant Promises on earth, through the power of His words spoken out of our mouth. We believe that when we speak in full agreement with His Word, we can have what we ask.
